Getting There

  • Public Transit - Bus

    From downtown Omaha, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Metro Transit bus route #2 (Red Line) heading south towards the South Omaha Transit Center. The bus will take you through various neighborhoods, and you should get off at the 'Bancroft St & 10th St' stop. From there, walk east on Bancroft Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach Lauritzen Gardens at 100 Bancroft St. The gardens will be on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local bike share program. Start from downtown Omaha and head south on 10th Street. Continue on 10th Street until you reach Bancroft Street, then turn left. Lauritzen Gardens will be on your left after about a mile. There are bike racks available for parking your bicycle.

    If you are close enough to Lauritzen Gardens, you can walk there directly. Start from the Old Market area and walk south on 11th Street, then turn right onto Farnam Street. Continue walking until you reach 10th Street, then take a left. Follow 10th Street until you arrive at Bancroft Street. Turn left on Bancroft Street, and Lauritzen Gardens will be on your left side at 100 Bancroft St.
