If you're starting from the central Sandhills area, head south on Highway 2 towards Gibbon. Continue on Highway 2 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the exit for Gibbon. Take the exit onto Gibbon's Main Street and follow it until you reach Lowell Road. Turn right onto Lowell Road and continue for about 3 miles. Windmill State Park will be on your left at 2625 Lowell Rd, Gibbon, NE 68840. Look for the park entrance, which is clearly marked.
