Getting There

• Car

  If you have a rental car or are using a private vehicle, start your journey from Pokhara. Drive on the Prithvi Highway (also known as the Pokhara-Baglung Highway) towards Lumle. Once you reach the Lumle area, follow the signs to Lovely Hill. The road can be winding, so drive carefully. The approximate drive time from Pokhara is about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. There is no entry fee to access the viewpoint.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Lovely Hill View Point (Gauda) via public transportation, take a local bus or microbus from Pokhara to Lumle. Buses leave from the bus station in Pokhara and the journey typically takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive in Lumle, you can either walk to the viewpoint, which takes about 30 minutes uphill, or hire a local taxi for a more comfortable ride. The taxi fare is usually around NPR 500-800 depending on your negotiation skills. Be sure to confirm the return trip with the taxi driver or arrange for a pickup time.

• Trekking

  If you are already trekking in the Annapurna Circuit, you can reach Lovely Hill View Point by taking a short detour from your trekking route. From the nearest trekking point, follow the trail that leads to Lovely Hill, which is well-marked. The hike will take approximately 1-2 hours from places like Landruk or Ghandruk. Be prepared for a steep ascent, and ensure you have enough water and snacks. There is no additional cost for accessing Lovely Hill, but consider hiring a local guide if you're unfamiliar with the area.
