If you are traveling by car, you will first need to drive to Pokhara, which is the nearest major city to the Annapurna region. From Pokhara, you can hire a taxi or a private vehicle to take you to Nayapul. The drive from Pokhara to Nayapul takes about 1.5 hours. Once you reach Nayapul, park your vehicle and start your trek to Ghorepani, which is about a 4 to 6-hour hike depending on your pace.

For those on a budget, you can take a public bus from Pokhara to Nayapul. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station in Pokhara and the journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Nayapul, you will need to begin your trek to Ghorepani, which takes about 4 to 6 hours. Be sure to carry some snacks and water, as facilities are limited along the way.

Trekking
Upon reaching Ghorepani, you will need to rest and prepare for the final ascent to Poon Hill View Point. It is recommended to start your hike early in the morning (around 4 AM) to catch the sunrise. The hike to Poon Hill from Ghorepani takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour. The trail is well-marked, and you will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. There is a small entrance fee for Poon Hill, which is typically around NPR 100 (Nepalese Rupees).
