    Getting There

    By Car

    From Kathmandu, take the Prithvi Highway towards Pokhara. After approximately 150 km, turn left onto Narayangarh-Mugling Highway. Follow this road for about 85 km until you reach Bharatpur. From Bharatpur, continue south on the East-West Highway for about 15 km until you reach Sauraha, the main gateway to Chitwan National Park.

    From Kathmandu, take a bus or microbus to Bharatpur, which is the nearest major city to Chitwan National Park. From Bharatpur, you can take a local bus or taxi to Sauraha, the main gateway to the park.
