Walking

From the Patan Durbar Square, head northeast towards the main road (Patan Durbar Marg). Turn left onto the main road and continue walking for about 15 minutes. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for the signs towards Bhaktapur. Upon reaching the main intersection, take a right onto the Bhaktapur Road. After approximately 5 minutes, you will arrive at the entrance of Bhaktapur. Continue on this road until you reach Taumadhi Square, where the Nyatapola Temple is located.
Public Transport (Microbus)

From Patan, head to the nearest microbus station. Look for a microbus heading to Bhaktapur. The fare should be around 50 NPR. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bhaktapur, disembark at the Bhaktapur Durbar Square stop. From there, walk straight towards Taumadhi Square, which should take you about 10 minutes. The Nyatapola Temple is situated in Taumadhi Square.
