Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Kathmandu. Drive approximately 70 km to the town of Sundarijal. From Sundarijal, continue on the Helambu Road, which leads you to the village of Melamchi, approximately 30 km away. After Melamchi, continue to the village of Sermathang, which is about 15 km from Melamchi. From Sermathang, you will need to trek towards Ganja La Trail, which is around a 2-3 days hike depending on your pace.

For those using public transportation, take a local bus or microbus from Kathmandu to Melamchi. The journey takes about 3-4 hours and costs around NPR 300-500. Once in Melamchi, you can either hire a jeep or begin your trek from there. For trekking, follow the path leading to Sermathang and onward to Ganja La Trail, which should take about 2-3 days of walking.
