Walking
From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head southeast towards the main road (Bhadgaon - Suryabinayak Road). Walk straight until you reach the intersection with the Ring Road. Turn left onto the Ring Road and continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the bus stop for Dakshinkali. Board a local bus heading towards Dakshinkali or Pharping. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Dakshinkali, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Dakshinkali Temple, which is located along Pharping-Kulekhani Road.
Local Bus
From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, proceed to the nearest bus stop located at the entrance of the square. Take a local bus going towards Suryabinayak. Once you reach Suryabinayak, transfer to a bus heading towards Dakshinkali. The total travel time will be around 40-50 minutes. After arriving at Dakshinkali, ask for directions to the Dakshinkali Temple, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus drop-off point along Pharping-Kulekhani Road.
Rickshaw
From your location in Bhaktapur, you can hire a local rickshaw (tuk-tuk) to take you directly to Dakshinkali Temple. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should typically be around 500-800 NPR. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. The rickshaw driver will know the way to Dakshinkali Temple, and you can simply show them the destination or ask them to take you to Pharping-Kulekhani Road.
