Getting There

• Walking

  From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head towards the main entrance of the square. Walk straight down the road leading out of the square known as Nagpokhari Road. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Bhaktapur- Kathmandu Road. Cross the road and keep walking straight, following the signs for Kathmandu. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach a bus stop. Here, take a local bus heading towards Kathmandu; ensure it has a sign indicating 'Thamel' or 'Chaksibari Marg.'

• Bus

  From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head to the bus station located near the old bus park. Look for a local bus with a sign that says 'Kathmandu' or 'Thamel.' The fare is usually around 50 NPR. After about 30-40 minutes, get off at the Thamel bus stop. From there, walk towards Chaksibari Marg which is a 5-minute walk. The entrance to Global Adventure Trekking is located on Chaksibari Marg, identifiable by its sign.

• Tuk Tuk

  At Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you directly to Chaksibari Marg, Kathmandu. The fare is typically around 300 NPR. Inform the driver to drop you off at Chaksibari Marg, and they will take you through the local roads. The journey will take approximately 25 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, look for the Global Adventure Trekking office located on Chaksibari Marg.
