Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head west towards the main road. Exit the square and turn left onto the road. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection where you will see a sign for Swayambhu. Turn right and follow the road signs leading to Swayambhu. As you walk, you will pass several small shops and local eateries. Continue for about 20 minutes. You will eventually reach a hill, and the Maha Manjushree Temple will be located on your right at the top of the hill.

Walking
From the Bhaktapur Bus Park, exit the park and turn right onto the main road. Walk straight along the road for about 15 minutes until you come to the Swayambhu intersection. Turn left at the intersection, and follow the signs towards Swayambhu. Continue walking for another 10 minutes, keeping an eye out for local landmarks. The Maha Manjushree Temple will be on your right as you ascend the steps leading to the temple.

Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bicycle, rent one from a local shop in Bhaktapur. Start from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and ride towards the main road, then turn left. Continue on this road for about 30 minutes, following the signs to Swayambhu. The route will take you through scenic neighborhoods. Once you reach the base of the hill leading up to the temple, park your bicycle and walk up the steps to reach the Maha Manjushree Temple.
