Walking
From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head east towards the main road (Bhaktapur-Nagarkot Road). You will pass by the famous 55-Window Palace. Once you reach the main road, turn left and continue straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Nagarkot. Continue along this road for approximately 10 kilometers, passing through the small towns of Changu Narayan and Nagarkot. Follow the signs towards the Nagarkot Panoramic Hiking Trail, which is well marked. It is about a 2-3 hour walk, depending on your pace, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Bhaktapur. Begin your journey by cycling from Bhaktapur Durbar Square east towards the Bhaktapur-Nagarkot Road. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers. The ride may take around 1-2 hours depending on your cycling speed and stops along the way to enjoy the views.
