From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head west towards the main gate of the square. Exit through the gate and turn right onto the road leading to the Bhaktapur bus park. Walk straight for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the bus park. From there, look for a local bus or microbus heading to Kathmandu. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Narayanhiti Path. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Narayanhiti Path, you will see the Narayanhiti Royal Palace on your left.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Bhaktapur. Start from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and head towards the bus park as described above. Instead of taking a bus, continue cycling on the same road towards Kathmandu. The ride will take about 30 minutes, depending on your speed. As you approach Kathmandu, look for signs for Narayanhiti Path, and you will arrive at the palace on your left.

To reach Narayanhiti Royal Palace via local bus, head to the Bhaktapur bus park located near the Durbar Square. Purchase a ticket to Kathmandu and board the bus. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Narayanhiti Path. The bus journey takes around 30-40 minutes. Once you get off, walk a short distance along Narayanhiti Path, and you will find the palace on your left.

For a more comfortable option, you can hire a rickshaw from Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Negotiate the fare to Narayanhiti Royal Palace before you start your journey.
