Getting There

Walking
From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head towards the East gate of the square. Continue walking straight along the main road (Bhaktapur-Kathmandu Road) for about 15 minutes until you reach the bus stop at Bhaktapur Bus Park. From there, take a local bus heading to Kathmandu. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Kathmandu, ask the conductor or locals for Pashupatinath Temple, and they will guide you to get off at the nearest stop. After getting off, walk towards Pashupati Nath Road, and you will see the temple entrance.

Start at Bhaktapur Durbar Square and walk to the Bhaktapur Bus Park. Look for a bus that goes to Kathmandu. When you board, confirm with the driver that they will stop near Pashupatinath Temple. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, get off at the closest stop to Pashupati Nath Road. From there, it's a short walk to the temple entrance, which is well-marked.

From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you can hire a cycle rickshaw to take you to the Bhaktapur Bus Park. Once you arrive at the park, take a local bus to Kathmandu. After getting off at a stop close to Pashupatinath Temple, ask locals for directions to Pashupati Nath Road, which is only a few minutes walk away.
