Getting There

Walking
From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head east towards the main road (Bhadgaon Road). Once you reach the road, turn left and continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach the Gundu area. Look for the signs pointing towards Ranikot. After another 1 km, you will see a trail leading up the hill on your right. Follow this trail, and it will take you directly to Ranikot. The hike takes around 4 hours. Be sure to carry water and wear comfortable shoes.

If you are near the Bhaktapur Bus Park, exit the park and turn right onto Bhadgaon Road. Walk straight for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with the Gundu road.
