From the center of Chitwan in Sauraha, head towards the Sauraha main street and walk north, following the signs towards the bus station. Once you reach the bus station, you can catch a local bus going to Bandipur. Make sure to ask the locals for the right bus heading to Bandipur as they are very friendly and helpful. The bus ride will take around 2-3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. When you arrive at the bus stop in Bandipur, you will be close to the main square. From there, you can easily walk to the main attractions in Bandipur.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Sauraha. Start your journey by cycling along the highway towards Bandipur. The route is scenic and will take you through beautiful landscapes. It’s about a 15-kilometer ride, which may take approximately 1-1.5 hours. Follow the signs directing you to Bandipur, and be cautious of traffic. Once you reach Bandipur, you can park your bicycle at designated bike racks near the entrance of the town.

Once you reach Dumre, exit the bus and look for the small local buses or the jeep service that goes up to Bandipur. It’s about a 30-minute ride from Dumre to Bandipur. When you arrive in Bandipur, you will find yourself in the heart of the town, close to various shops and attractions.
