From the center of Sauraha, head southeast on the main road (Sauraha Road) for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and restaurants. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of Chitwan National Park, which is marked by a large sign. The park entrance is on the left side of the road.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sauraha. From the rental shop, cycle southeast along Sauraha Road. Keep going for about 1 kilometer. You’ll see the entrance to Chitwan National Park on your left. Make sure to follow the road signs directing you to the park.

Elephant Ride
If you prefer a unique experience, you can book an elephant ride from Sauraha. The operators will typically take you through the park entrance. Confirm your ride with a local tour operator, and they will guide you to the elephants, which are usually stationed near the river.
