Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from Bharatpur, make your way towards the East-West Highway (also known as the Prithvi Highway). Head north on the road until you reach the intersection with the Narayani River. This will take approximately 20-30 minutes on foot. Once you arrive at the river, look for a path that leads towards the water's edge. Follow this path along the riverbank, enjoying the scenic views of the river and surrounding greenery. Continue walking along the bank for about 15-20 minutes until you reach Ramghat Beach. The beach is situated right by the river and is marked by a few local signs.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from any of the local rental shops in Bharatpur. Start by heading towards the East-West Highway and then take a left turn to head north. Cycle for about 2 kilometers until you reach the riverbank. There you’ll find a path that leads along the Narayani River. Pedal along this path for approximately 15 minutes, and soon you will arrive at Ramghat Beach. Be sure to take your time and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the river as you cycle.

• Local Bus/Transport and Walking

  From any central point in Bharatpur, catch a local bus heading towards Narayanghat. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the nearest stop to the Narayani River. Once you get off, look for signs directing you towards the riverbank. Walk for about 10-15 minutes towards the river, and you will find Ramghat Beach. This option is great for those who want to experience local transport while still enjoying a short walk to the beach.
