Car
If you are starting from Juphal, drive towards the town center. From there, take the road east towards Dunai. The road to Likhu khola is a bit rough, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended. Follow the signs for about 30 km until you reach the village of Likhu. The parking area is near the entrance of the village, where you can leave your car and continue on foot.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Juphal, you can take a local bus to Dunai. Buses usually leave in the morning and the ride takes about 1-2 hours. Tickets cost around NPR 200-300. Once you reach Dunai, you’ll need to either hire a local jeep or walk the remaining distance to Likhu khola, which is about 15 km. Local jeeps may charge around NPR 1000-1500 for this short trip.
Trekking
If you enjoy hiking, you can trek from Dunai to Likhu khola. The trek will take approximately 4-5 hours, covering a distance of around 15 km. The trail is well-marked and offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Make sure to carry sufficient water and snacks for the journey.
