Car
If you are driving, head towards Pame Lake, which is well-known and located just north of Pokhara city. From the city center, take the Prithvi Highway and follow the signs to Lakeside. Once you reach the Lakeside area, continue straight until you reach the Chhorepatan area. Look for signs to Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. The cave is located near the entrance of the cave complex. There's parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave via public transport, you can take a local bus from the Pokhara bus station that heads towards Chhorepatan. Ask the driver or the conductor to drop you off at Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Chhorepatan, the cave entrance is a short walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs leading to the cave.
Walking
If you are already in the Lakeside area of Pokhara, you can walk to Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. Start at the Lakeside promenade and walk towards the north, following the road to Chhorepatan. The walk is about 30 minutes and offers scenic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. As you approach Chhorepatan, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the cave.
