Car
If you are driving from Pokhara city center, head south on Mahendra Pool and take the road towards the airport. Continue along the road, which will eventually turn into the Siddhartha Highway. Follow the signs for Mahendra Cave, which is approximately a 15-minute drive from the city center. Upon reaching the cave, you will find parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Mahendra Cave using public transportation, start by taking a local bus or microbus from Lakeside Pokhara towards Batulechaur. Once you get off at the Batulechaur stop, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local taxi to Mahendra Cave, which is about 1.5 kilometers from the bus stop. Taxis are readily available near the bus stop.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Mahendra Cave, you can walk from the nearby Batulechaur area. From Batulechaur, head west along the main road, following the signs for Mahendra Cave. It is about a 20-minute walk and is mostly flat, making it accessible for most tourists.
