Upon reaching Manakamana, you can park your car at the designated parking area before proceeding to the cable car station.

Public Transportation

To reach Manakamana Temple via public transportation, first take a bus from Pokhara or Kathmandu to Muglin. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the journey from Pokhara takes approximately 3-4 hours, while from Kathmandu it takes about 6-7 hours. Once in Muglin, you can find local buses or taxis that will take you to the Manakamana cable car station. The cable car ride itself costs around NPR 1,000 for a round trip and provides a stunning view of the surrounding hills.

Cable Car

After arriving at the cable car station from Muglin, purchase a ticket for the cable car ride to Manakamana Temple. The cable car station is located a short walk from the parking area.
