Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from other parts of Gandaki Province, head towards Pokhara on the Prithvi Highway (also known as the Pokhara-Baglung Highway). Follow the road signs, and as you approach Pokhara, continue straight until you reach Lakeside Road. This area is famous for its stunning lakeside views and numerous hotels and restaurants. Parking is available along the Lakeside Road, but be prepared to pay a small fee, typically around NPR 50-100 per hour.

• Public Bus

  Catch a public bus from your location in Gandaki Province heading towards Pokhara. Buses frequently depart from major towns like Bandipur, Begnas, and others. The fare will vary, but expect to pay about NPR 200-600 depending on the distance. Once you arrive at the Pokhara Bus Park, you can take a short taxi ride or walk approximately 2 km to the Lakeside area. Taxis are available and typically charge around NPR 300-500 for the ride.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a direct route, you can hire a taxi from any location within Gandaki Province to Pokhara. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey; it could range from NPR 2000 to NPR 4000 depending on the distance. Once you arrive in Pokhara, the taxi can drop you off directly at Lakeside Road.

• Motorbike Rental

  For a more adventurous option, consider renting a motorbike in Pokhara. Rental shops are available near the Lakeside area and typically charge around NPR 800-1500 per day. You can ride around the scenic routes and reach Lakeside directly. Ensure you have a valid license and wear a helmet for safety.
