Walking
From the main square in Gorkha, head towards the Gorkha Durbar Square. As you exit the square, take the road leading to the south towards the Gorkha Bus Park. After a short distance, you will come to a fork in the road. Take the left path that leads towards Bahundanda. Follow the road as it gradually climbs uphill. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a sign for Bahundanda. At this point, you might also see signs indicating the direction for Bara Pokhari. From here, continue walking uphill for another 1 kilometer, which will lead you directly to Bara Pokhari. The path is well-trodden and scenic, so enjoy the views along the way.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can opt for a trekking route from Gorkha. Start at the Gorkha Durbar Square and follow the trail leading towards the hills.
