Getting There

Walking
From the center of Gorkha, head towards the Gorkha Durbar Square. Once you reach the square, continue straight on the main road leading uphill towards the Gorkha Kalika Temple. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will come across a fork in the road. Take the left path, which will lead you to Kaskikot. Follow this path for approximately 3 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views. You will eventually see signs pointing to Kaskikot Palace. The palace is located at the end of the path, and you will reach the entrance after a short uphill walk.

If you prefer a more adventurous route, start from Gorkha Durbar Square and take the steep trail that leads to the Kaskikot area. This trail is approximately 4 kilometers long and offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Follow the trail signs, and after about 1 hour of hiking, you will arrive at Kaskikot Palace. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and carry water, as the hike can be challenging.
