Getting There

  • Car

    From Kanchenjunga Base Camp, you will first need to drive to the nearest major town, which is Taplejung. The drive will take approximately 6-8 hours depending on road conditions. From Taplejung, head to the district headquarter of Phidim. This part of the drive will take about 4 hours. Once you reach Phidim, you can hire a jeep or take local transportation to the trailhead at Num, which is about 2 hours away. Make sure to check for any required permits before starting your trek.
