Car
If you are traveling by car from Kathmandu Valley to Everest Base Camp Trekking, start by heading east on the Ring Road towards Bhaktapur. Continue until you reach the town of Jiri, where you will need to park your car. From Jiri, the trek begins. Please note that there are no direct roads to Everest Base Camp; you will need to trek from Jiri or take a flight to Lukla first.

To reach Everest Base Camp by public transportation, take a local bus from Kathmandu to Jiri. Buses leave from the Bus Park in Kathmandu and the journey takes approximately 8-10 hours.
