Car
If you're driving, head towards the Basantapur area in Kathmandu. From Thamel, take the Tridevi Marg and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bhaktapur Durbar Square Road. Turn right onto Bhaktapur Durbar Square Road, and continue until you see the Hanuman Dhoka on your left. There is limited parking nearby, so look for available spaces or park in designated areas.
Public Transportation
To reach Hanuman Dhoka via public transportation, take a microbus or local bus heading towards Basantapur. Most buses will drop you off at the Basantapur Bus Stop. From there, it's a short walk to Hanuman Dhoka. Head towards the large square and follow the signs pointing to Hanuman Dhoka. The walk should take about 5-10 minutes.
Taxi
For a direct route, you can take a taxi to Hanuman Dhoka. Simply tell the driver 'Hanuman Dhoka' or show them the address: Hanuman Dhoka Sadak, Kathmandu 44600. The driver will drop you off at the entrance, and you won’t need to walk far.
