If you are driving, start from the Thamel area, a popular tourist destination in Kathmandu. Head south on the Tridevi Marg road towards the Ratna Park. Continue straight until you reach the Bagmati River. Cross the river using the bridge, and then continue on the road that turns into Bhadrakali Road. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers. After passing the Nepal Army Headquarters on your right, turn left onto Nayabazar Road. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you see Nayabazar 16 on your left, where the Nepal Hiking Team is located.
Public Transportation

To get to Nayabazar 16 using public transportation, start from Thamel and walk to the nearest bus stop. Take a microbus or a local bus heading towards Bhaktapur or Lagankhel. Request the conductor to drop you off at the Nayabazar stop. Once you get off, walk straight for about 200 meters. You will see Nayabazar 16 on your right side, where the Nepal Hiking Team office is located.

If you prefer to take a taxi, you can easily find one in Thamel. Tell the driver to take you to Nayabazar 16.
