Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards the Basantapur area in Kathmandu. From Thamel, take the Ratna Park road, which will lead you to the Old Bus Park. Continue straight until you reach the junction where you can see the Kathmandu Durbar Square on your left. Follow the signs towards Basantapur and turn left onto Layaku Marg. Nasal Chowk is located on this road. You can park your vehicle at designated parking spots nearby, which may incur a fee of around NPR 20-50 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Nasal Chowk via public transport, you can take a microbus or a local bus heading towards Kathmandu Durbar Square from various locations in Kathmandu Valley, such as Ratnapark or New Bus Park. The fare is usually around NPR 15-30. Once you get off at the bus stop nearest to Durbar Square, walk towards Basantapur and then take a left onto Layaku Marg. You will find Nasal Chowk just a short walk down this road.
Walking
If you are staying in the Thamel area, you can easily walk to Nasal Chowk. Start from Thamel and head towards the Kathmandu Durbar Square. Once you reach the square, look for Layaku Marg, which is on the left side of the square. Walk down Layaku Marg for about 5-10 minutes, and you'll arrive at Nasal Chowk. This is a pleasant walk, allowing you to enjoy the local architecture and bustling atmosphere.
