Getting There

  • Local Bus

    From Kathmandu, head to the Ratna Park bus station, which is centrally located. You can take a local bus heading towards Sindhupalchowk or Melamchi. The journey may take about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Helambu area, follow signs or ask locals for specific attractions or trails.

The most common route begins from Sundarijal, which can be reached by a short taxi ride from Thamel. From Sundarijal, trek along the Shivapuri National Park trails towards Helambu.
