Getting There

• Bus

  From Kathmandu, head to the Ratna Park Bus Station. Look for a bus heading to Dhulikhel; these buses usually display their destination on the front. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Dhulikhel, ask the bus conductor to let you off at the main bus stop. From there, you can take a local taxi or walk towards Hajar Sidhi. The Kali Temple is located a short distance away, approximately a 15-minute walk.

• Microbus

  Go to the Bhaktapur Bus Park in Kathmandu and find a microbus that goes to Dhulikhel. Microbuses are typically faster than regular buses but might be a bit cramped. The ride will take about an hour. Once you reach Dhulikhel, get off at the main bus stop. The Kali Temple is about a 15-minute walk from there. Follow the road signs or ask locals for directions.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Kathmandu. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Kali Temple in Dhulikhel. The drive will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis are usually available at hotels or you can call for one. Confirm the fare before starting your journey.

• Walking

  If you are already in Dhulikhel, you can ask locals for directions to Hajar Sidhi. The Kali Temple is situated about 1.5 kilometers from the main bus stop. Walking will take you around 20 to 25 minutes. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding hills and local architecture.
