Walking
Starting from the main square of Durbar Square, head towards the eastern side of the square where you will see the Hanuman Dhoka Palace. Walk past the palace and keep an eye out for the narrow street leading to Layaku Marg. This street is just to the left of the palace. Continue walking along Layaku Marg for about 5 minutes, and you will see Kumari Ghar on your right. Look for the distinct red and yellow building, which is the residence of the Living Goddess.

If you are near the Kasthamandap temple in Durbar Square, exit the temple area and turn right. Walk towards the end of the square where you'll find the main pathway leading towards the entrance of Layaku Marg. Follow this path for around 7 minutes, and Kumari Ghar will be located on your left side, identifiable by its ornate architecture.

From the entrance of the Durbar Museum, head towards the central courtyard of Durbar Square. Once you reach the center, take the path leading towards the east side of the square. After a short walk of about 4 minutes, you will come upon Layaku Marg. Turn left onto Layaku Marg, and Kumari Ghar will be directly ahead in about 3 minutes, easily recognizable by its vibrant colors and decorative details.
