Getting there

Walking

Start at the Lumbini Sacred Garden entrance, which is a well-known starting point for many visitors. From the entrance, walk towards the main path leading you through the garden. Continue walking straight until you reach the main road (Lumbini Road). This should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the main road, turn left and continue walking until you reach the junction with the Siddhartha Highway. This is roughly a 30-minute walk from the garden entrance. At this junction, look for a sign directing you towards Lamahi. Follow the signs for Lamahi, which will lead you onto the Siddhartha Highway. Keep walking straight on this highway for approximately 5 kilometers (around 1 hour). Be cautious of traffic. Once you reach the Lamahi area, ask the locals for directions to Lamahi View Tower, as it is a known landmark. It should be a short walk from there.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Lumbini. Start your journey from the Lumbini Sacred Garden and ride towards the main road (Lumbini Road). Turn left at the main road and ride towards the junction with the Siddhartha Highway. This is about a 15-minute ride. At the junction, turn left onto the Siddhartha Highway and continue riding straight for approximately 5 kilometers (about 30 minutes). Once you reach the Lamahi area, ask locals for specific directions to Lamahi View Tower, as it is a recognized landmark. The final distance to the tower should be a short ride or walk from where you are.

Local Bus

From Lumbini, look for a local bus heading towards Lamahi. These buses can be found near the entrance of the Sacred Garden or on the main road. Make sure to ask the driver if the bus goes directly to Lamahi. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Lamahi, ask locals for directions to Lamahi View Tower, which should be easy to find as it is a popular site.
