Walking
Start at the Lumbini Visitor Center. From there, head south towards the main entrance of the Sacred Garden. Once you reach the entrance, continue walking straight until you reach the main road. Turn left and follow the road as it curves around. After about 1.5 km, you will come across the Boudha Stupa on your right. Continue walking straight, and you will see signs directing you towards Rani Mahal. It is approximately 3 km from the Stupa, so be prepared for a bit of a walk. Keep an eye out for Rani Mahal on your left, located in Bougha Gumha, marked by its historical architecture.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Lumbini. Start your journey from the Lumbini Visitor Center and head south towards the Sacred Garden. Once you reach the entrance, take the main road to the left. Cycle for about 1.5 km until you see the Boudha Stupa. Continue straight on the road, which will lead you towards Rani Mahal. The total distance from the Visitor Center to Rani Mahal is about 5 km, so enjoy the scenic ride and beautiful surroundings!
Local Transport (Rickshaw)
To reach Rani Mahal by rickshaw, start at the Lumbini Visitor Center and ask a local rickshaw driver to take you to Rani Mahal in Bougha Gumha. The drivers are familiar with the area and will know the exact location. The fare should be reasonable, and the journey will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your ride.
