Walking
From the main entrance of Lumbini Garden, head south towards the Lumbini Museum. As you walk, you will pass by various monuments and the Sacred Garden. Continue walking until you reach the main road. Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk along the road for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the junction near the Maya Devi Temple. From there, take a right turn onto the Sandhikharka-Gorusinghe Road. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers. You will pass through the rural landscape, and you might see some local shops along the way. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Supa Deurali Temple. The temple is situated on the left side of the road, and you will see a distinctive entrance gate leading to the temple area.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one in Lumbini. Start by cycling from the Lumbini Garden entrance towards the Lumbini Museum. After you pass the museum, continue straight to the main road. At the main road, turn left and cycle down to the junction near Maya Devi Temple. Take a right onto Sandhikharka-Gorusinghe Road. Continue cycling for around 5 kilometers. The ride will be scenic, with views of local farms and villages. Look for directional signs for Supa Deurali Temple. The temple will be on your left-hand side, and you can park your bicycle near the entrance.
Public Transport
From Lumbini, you can take a local bus or a shared taxi from the main bus station. Ask for a ride to Sitapur or specifically to Supa Deurali Temple. Buses run frequently, and the fare is quite affordable. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Sitapur, you can ask locals for directions to the temple, which is within walking distance from the bus stop. It’s advisable to check the bus schedule in advance for the return trip.
