Walking
From the Lumbini Garden, head east towards the main entrance. Once you exit the garden, walk straight towards the Lumbini bus park, which is about 1 km away. At the bus park, you can ask locals or look for a bus heading towards Bhimad. The bus ride to Bhimad will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Bhimad, ask for directions to Khairani Bhimad Rd, where Thangdi is located. It's approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to Thangdi.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Lumbini. Start from the Lumbini Garden and head east to the main road. Continue on the main road towards Bhimad. The ride will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you reach Bhimad, you can ask for Khairani Bhimad Rd. Thangdi is about a 10-15 minute bike ride from the center of Bhimad. Follow the signs or ask locals if you're unsure.
Public Transportation
From Lumbini, make your way to the Lumbini bus park. Look for a bus that goes to Bhimad; buses generally leave every hour. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes. After reaching Bhimad, you can take a local rickshaw or walk. If walking, follow the main road to Khairani Bhimad Rd, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
