Getting There

Walking
Start from the Lumbini Sacred Garden entrance. Head east on the main pathway towards the Maya Devi Temple, which is a significant landmark. Continue past the temple, following the signs towards the Lumbini Monastic Zone. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach a fork in the path. Take the left path leading towards the 'View point / resting place'. Follow this trail for about 500 meters. As you approach, you will see signs indicating the viewpoint. The area is elevated, providing a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. It is a great spot to rest and enjoy the tranquility of Lumbini.

Cycling
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Lumbini International Research Institute. Head south towards the main entrance of the Lumbini Sacred Garden. Once at the garden entrance, cycle along the main pathway towards the Maya Devi Temple. After visiting the temple, continue your journey towards the Monastic Zone. When you reach the fork in the path, take the left path towards the viewpoint. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes from the fork. Follow the signs that lead to the resting place, and park your bicycle at the designated area before enjoying the view.
