Walking
If you are starting from the Lumbini Visitor Center, exit the center and head west towards the main entrance of the Lumbini archaeological site. Continue walking along the main pathway until you reach the Mayadevi Temple. As you approach the temple, keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Lumbini Bazar. Once you reach the temple area, you will see the vibrant market atmosphere of Lumbini Bazar just a short walk away to the east.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the Lumbini Visitor Center. Start cycling towards the Mayadevi Temple. After visiting the temple, continue riding eastwards along Mayadevi Temple Road. You will see Lumbini Bazar ahead, marked by local shops and eateries. It’s about a 10-minute ride from the temple, and it offers a pleasant way to explore the surroundings.
Rickshaw
You can easily find a cycle rickshaw near the Mayadevi Temple. Simply tell the rickshaw driver 'Lumbini Bazar' or indicate the direction with a hand gesture. The rickshaw will take you directly to the bazar in about 5 minutes. This is a convenient option if you're traveling with luggage or prefer a quicker route.
