If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest city in Mahakali Zone, which is Darchula. Head towards the east on the Mahakali Highway (also known as the Darchula-Pithoragarh road). Continue on this highway for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the Sarda River area. You can also use Google Maps for real-time navigation. Parking is available near the riverbanks.
Public Transportation
To reach Sarda River via public transportation from Darchula, take a local bus or a microbus heading towards the Mahakali Highway. The bus ride will take about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the traffic and road conditions. Inform the driver that you want to get off near the Sarda River. Once you arrive, you may have to walk a short distance to reach the riverbank.
