From Arughat, you will need to take a local jeep or a bus to Soti Khola, which takes approximately 1 hour. After reaching Soti Khola, start your trek towards Machha Khola, which is a 6 to 7 hour hike. Continue your trek until you reach Jagat, and then proceed to Philim. The trek from Philim to Samagaun takes about 4 to 5 hours. Once in Samagaun, follow the signs to Pung Gyen Gompa, which is approximately a 3-hour hike from the village.
