Getting There

• Car

  If you are starting from the nearest major town, like Arughat, drive towards the trailhead for the Manaslu Circuit. The road can be rough, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. Follow the signs to Sotikhola, which is approximately a 5-hour drive. From Sotikhola, park your car safely and begin your trek towards the Manaslu Base Camp. Ensure you have a local guide and necessary permits, as this is required for trekking in the Manaslu region.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Manaslu Circuit via public transport, take a bus from Kathmandu to Arughat. The bus journey takes about 8-10 hours. Once in Arughat, you can get a local jeep or shared taxi to Sotikhola. The jeep ride will take around 1-2 hours. From Sotikhola, you will need to trek towards the Manaslu Base Camp, where you will need to arrange for a local guide due to permit requirements.

• Trekking

  After reaching Sotikhola, begin your trek towards the Manaslu Circuit. Trekking to Larkya La (the highest point of the trek), you will eventually head towards 루블라 패스. This trek generally takes 7-10 days depending on your pace and acclimatization. It is essential to stay hydrated and acclimatize properly to avoid altitude sickness. Make sure to carry enough food and supplies, as you will be in remote areas.
