From Kathmandu, you will need to drive or take a public bus to Arughat, which is the gateway to the Manaslu Circuit. The drive takes approximately 8-10 hours. In Arughat, you can hire a local jeep or arrange for a trek guide to take you to Samagaun, the starting point for the Tasa Peak hike. This journey by jeep takes around 6-8 hours on a rugged road.

Once you arrive in Samagaun, you can begin your trek towards Tasa Peak. The trail to Tasa Peak generally takes about 3-4 hours of trekking from Samagaun.
