If you are driving, start your journey from Arughat, a common starting point for the Manaslu Circuit. From Arughat, take the road towards Soti Khola. The roads can be narrow and winding, so drive cautiously. After approximately 1-2 hours of driving, you will reach Soti Khola. Here, you can park your car in designated parking areas. From Soti Khola, you will need to walk to Thuma Shiv Mandir, which is about a 1.5-hour trek through scenic landscapes.

To reach Thuma Shiv Mandir using public transportation, take a local bus or jeep from Kathmandu to Arughat. The journey will take around 6-8 hours depending on road conditions and traffic. Once in Arughat, transfer to a local jeep heading towards Soti Khola. This part of the trip will take about 1-2 hours. Once in Soti Khola, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 hours to reach Thuma Shiv Mandir. Ensure you check the bus schedules in advance as they can vary.
