Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can start from the nearest major city, Bhadrapur. From Bhadrapur, take the East-West Highway (Mahendra Highway) heading west. Drive approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the Kankai Municipality area. Look for signs directing you to Jhandi Danda. As you approach the area, you will need to turn onto the Unnamed Road at the coordinates MVRW+9RW. Continue along this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach Jhandi Danda. Ensure you have a GPS or map app for accurate navigation.

• Public Transportation

  For travelers using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Bhadrapur to Kankai. Buses frequently run along the East-West Highway. Once you arrive in Kankai, you can hire a local taxi or a rickshaw to take you to Jhandi Danda. The taxi ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes and costs around NPR 300-500. Make sure to inform the driver to take you to MVRW+9RW, Unnamed Road, as they are familiar with the area.

• Walking

  If you happen to be close to Jhandi Danda in Kankai and prefer to walk, you can do so from the center of Kankai. Head towards Unnamed Road, and navigate towards the coordinates MVRW+9RW. The walk will take approximately 1 hour, depending on your pace. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes, as the path may be uneven in some areas.
