Getting There

• Car

Once at the junction, turn left and follow the road which takes you directly to a viewpoint by the river. Parking is available near the viewpoint.

  To reach Mechi River via public transportation, board a local bus from Bhadrapur to the nearest stop at the Mechi River junction. Buses usually depart every 30 minutes from the Bhadrapur bus station. The fare is approximately NPR 50-100, depending on the type of bus. Once you arrive at the junction, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the river. Look for signs or ask locals for directions to the riverbank.

  You can also hire a taxi from Bhadrapur directly to Mechi River. This option is convenient and offers flexibility with timing. The driver will take you directly to the river, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way.

• Motorbike Rental

  For the more adventurous, renting a motorbike in Bhadrapur can be an exciting way to reach Mechi River. Rental shops are available near the bus station. Expect to pay around NPR 1500-2000 for a day's rental. Follow the same route as if you were driving a car on Mechi Highway, and use GPS navigation to guide you to the river.
