Getting there

Walking

Start from Gorkha Durbar Square, which is the main tourist hub in Gorkha. Head northwest on the main road leading out of the square. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Tanahun. Turn left at the intersection. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers, passing through local villages and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Look for signs directing you to Tanahunsur. After 2 kilometers, you will arrive at the base of the hill leading up to Tanahunsur Durbar.

Hiking

From the base of the hill, there is a well-marked hiking trail that leads up to Tanahunsur Durbar. The trail is steep, so wear comfortable shoes and carry water. The hike will take approximately 30-45 minutes. As you ascend, enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. At the top, you will find Tanahunsur Durbar, a historic landmark worth exploring.
