From the center of Nagarkot, walk towards the main road leading down to Bhaktapur. As you walk, follow the signs pointing to Kathmandu. After approximately 20 minutes, you will reach the junction at the bottom of the hill. At the junction, turn left and continue walking straight for about 30 minutes until you reach the bus stop near the main entrance of Kathmandu. Take a local bus heading to Kathmandu. The fare is inexpensive, and the journey will take approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions.
