Walking
From the center of Nagarkot, walk towards the main road leading down to Bhaktapur. As you walk, follow the signs pointing to Kathmandu. After approximately 20 minutes, you will reach the junction at the bottom of the hill. At the junction, turn left and continue walking straight for about 30 minutes until you reach the bus stop near the main entrance of Kathmandu. Take a local bus heading to Kathmandu. The fare is inexpensive, and the journey will take approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions.

If you are starting from the Nagarkot View Tower, head east towards the main road. Follow the path down the hill for about 15 minutes until you reach the bus stop at the base of the hill. Once there, board a bus heading to Kathmandu, which will take around 1 hour to reach your destination.
