From the center of Nagarkot, start by heading south on the main road towards Bhaktapur. After walking about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Take a right turn onto the road heading towards Mangal Bazaar. Continue straight for another 2 kilometers until you reach a sign for Bhimsen Mandir on your left. The temple is located a short walk up a small path from the main road.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Nagarkot bus stop and cycle down the hill towards the main highway. Once you reach the main road, turn left and bike towards Bhaktapur. After about 1.5 kilometers, take a right into Mangal Bazaar. Continue cycling for about 2 kilometers and look for the sign for Bhimsen Mandir on your left. Park your bicycle nearby and walk up the path to the temple.
