Walking
From your accommodation in Nagarkot, head towards the main road leading down the hill. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection where you can see signs for the bus stop towards Kathmandu. Follow the signs to catch a local bus heading to Kathmandu. The bus will take you to the bus terminal in Kathmandu, which is approximately a 1.5 to 2-hour journey depending on traffic.

Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Kathmandu, locate the Thamel area, where Chaksibari Marg is situated. You can either take a short taxi ride or walk to Thamel. If walking, head towards the Thamel area, which should take about 20 minutes. As you enter Thamel, look for Chaksibari Marg; it is well-marked and you can ask locals for directions if needed.

If you prefer not to walk from the bus terminal, you can hire a taxi directly to Chaksibari Marg. Make sure to agree on a fare before getting in or ask the driver to use the meter. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
