Getting There

Walking
From the main square in Nagarkot, head towards the trail that leads down the hill. Follow the path for about 15 minutes until you reach the main road. Turn left onto the road and continue walking for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the bus stop. There, you can catch a local bus to Kathmandu. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Thamel, Kathmandu.

Once you arrive at the bus stop in Nagarkot, board a local bus heading to Kathmandu. The bus ride will take about an hour. When you arrive in Kathmandu, ask the conductor to let you know when you reach Thamel. After getting off the bus, walk towards Thamel Marg, which is a short walk away. Green Valley Nepal Treks will be located on Thamel Marg.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Nagarkot. Start your ride down the main road leading to Kathmandu. The journey may take approximately 1.5 hours, depending on your pace. As you approach Kathmandu, continue straight until you reach Thamel. Look for signs indicating Thamel Marg, and once there, locate Green Valley Nepal Treks on the right side.

For adventurous travelers, you can hike the trail from Nagarkot to Kathmandu. The hike will take about 4-5 hours, depending on your fitness level. Start by following the marked trails down the hill from Nagarkot. Follow the signs towards Kathmandu and make sure to have a map or a guide.
